Action Must Be Taken

Well, I've been meeting with The Mohel everyday this week and the plan is set. So what if it's not on his eighth day? My grandson will not have this ancient right stolen from him by a couple of kids who don't know any better! I'm sorry Maya and James. I love you both, I really do, but oy vay you just don't know the importance of this tradition!

This plan must remain top secret. I'll let you all in on the details as soon everything is taken care of and we don't run the risk espionage.

On a lighter note, it's been 53 long years of life that I've been eating the Gallowitz matzo ball soup and my older sister Michelle finally gave me the recipe! You see, this matzo ball soup (we call it Jewish Penicillin) is not only the best cure for the common cold and flu, but oh my god it is the most delicious treat, ever! The Gallowitz women inherit the recipe as soon as they become grandmothers...

I can remember my own grandmother cooking the soup for me when I was only 5 years old and I had the chicken pox. For a week straight I was miserable and the only thing I could look forward to, the only thing keeping me alive was this delicious, oh so delicious nectar of Abraham. It will only be a matter of time until Micheal can gum solid food and at that time he'll taste his first matzo ball, and HE WILL KNOW HE IS A JEW!

  1. Grandma Gallowitz,

The importance of secrets is of the utmost importance. If you ever have a great need for investigation into your grandchild's well-being, I am your man. Do not forget, there are terrible things around every corner.

    With every good wish,

    Your P.A.L.

  2. Grandma, can you perhaps share that recipe with me? I have a daughter that gets sick sometimes. Maybe I can use your... Matzo ball soup next time she is sick.
